Background The City of Philadelphia's Procurement Department is issuing a micro purchase solicitation for heavy-duty shelving units. The goal of this contract is to procure shelving that meets the city's needs while ensuring competitive pricing and quality service. Work Details The vendor must provide delivery and full on-site assembly of the shelf units. The quote must include all costs associated with these requirements. The specific shelving dimensions and weight capacities are as follows: - 36" x 18" x 72", capacity: 143 lbs - 36" x 24" x 72", capacity: 400 lbs - 48" x 18" x 72", capacity: 178 lbs - Additional sizes and capacities are detailed in the specifications, including various configurations up to a maximum weight capacity of 621 lbs for larger units. All products must be delivered FOB Destination Point. Period of Performance The contract will commence upon the issuance of a Purchase Order and will terminate automatically after one year (365 days) unless otherwise amended. Place of Performance The location for delivery and assembly will be determined by the City of Philadelphia at the time of order. Bidder Requirements Bidders must submit a signed Consent and Authorization Agreement prior to bid closing. Quotes must be electronically submitted through PHLContracts, and all terms quoted shall remain valid for 60 days from the submission date. The total amount of the quote shall not exceed $43,000.
