Background The Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) is seeking to procure brand-name Camunda Enterprise Edition software licenses, software maintenance, and technical success support. This acquisition aims to ensure the continuity of service for the agency's standardized Business Process Management (BPM) platform, which was selected in 2021 to automate and manage critical business processes. The DFAS Portal Workflows team supports 29 distinct workflows for a potential user base of up to 30,000 individuals. This procurement is a follow-on action to maintain operational status and leverage prior investments in technology, development, and personnel training. Work Details The Contractor shall provide the following: 1. **Software Licensing**: Camunda Enterprise Edition software licenses sufficient for production, staging/test, and development environments. - **Production Environment**: For hosting live operational business processes. - **Staging/Test Environment**: For user acceptance testing and performance validation. - **Development Environment**: For developers to build and test new processes. 2. **Software Maintenance**: Access to all new versions, releases, security patches, and updates for the Camunda platform. 3. **Technical Success Support**: Access to enterprise-level technical support from Camunda's experts for troubleshooting and best practices. Period of Performance The performance will start on May 18, 2026, with a base period from May 18, 2026 - May 17, 2027, followed by four option periods each lasting twelve months. Place of Performance The services will be performed in environments compatible with the agency's technical stack including Microsoft Azure Government Cloud.
