Background The Defense Finance and Accounting Service (DFAS) is issuing a requirement for secure, on-site destruction of Government-owned media, specifically hard drives and magnetic tapes. The goal of this contract is to ensure the safe disposal of sensitive data contained in 1353 tapes and 7891 hard drives at their facility in Indianapolis, IN. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for providing on-site degaussing and shredding services for a total of 1353 tapes and 7891 hard drives. The services must comply with the Statement of Work (SOW) specifications, which include: - Secure destruction of all specified media types. - Adherence to applicable regulations regarding data destruction. - Provision of documentation certifying the destruction of the media. - Performance of additional media destruction services as needed throughout the contract period. Period of Performance The period of performance for this contract will be from June 1, 2026, to May 31, 2027, with an option for an additional period thereafter.
