This is a Sources Sought notice for market research purposes only. This is not a formal request for competitive offers and in no way obligates the Government. The Government retains the right not to open the requirement to competition based upon the responses to this notice. The Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) Acquisition Directorate (AD) seeks interested companies that are qualified and authorized to provide emergency repair and parts corrective maintenance, and software subscription services for Caterpillar generators. The contractor shall perform emergency repair corrective maintenance services on the Caterpillar generators at Site R located in Adams County, Pennsylvania.The anticipated period of performance will be for one 12-month base year plus four 12-month option years. The contractor must be able acquire and maintain a SECRET facility clearance while performing work for this requirement. Please see attached Performance Work Statement (PWS) for performance requirements.The Product Service Code (PSC) is J030, Maintenance, Repair, and Rebuilding of Equipment ? Mechanical Power Transmission Equipment; The anticipated North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this acquisition is 811310. Background The Washington Headquarters Services (WHS) Acquisition Directorate is seeking qualified companies to provide emergency repair, parts corrective maintenance, and software subscription services for Caterpillar generators. The goal of this contract is to ensure the operational readiness of these generators located at Site R in Adams County, Pennsylvania. The contractor must possess a SECRET facility clearance to perform the work. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the following tasks: 1. Provide annual subscriptions for SIS and ET Analysis related to Caterpillar generators. 2. Supply repair parts and all necessary labor, equipment, and materials for emergency repairs. 3. Execute corrective maintenance as required under task orders or BPA orders. 4. Submit maintenance reports within five days of service visits detailing program status, issues encountered, resource planning, and budget totals. 5. Attend post-award conferences and periodic progress meetings with the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). 6. Ensure all personnel are trained in DoD Anti-terrorism Level 1 training and have completed necessary security clearances. Period of Performance The anticipated period of performance is one base year of 12 months with four additional option years, each also lasting 12 months. Place of Performance The contract will be performed at Site R located in Adams County, Pennsylvania.
