Background The United States Army Contracting Command - New Jersey is issuing this solicitation on behalf of the 99th Readiness Division for the repair and installation of a Snow Melt System - Heat Trace at PA053 and PA051 in Johnstown, PA. The goal of this contract is to enhance operational readiness through the installation of effective snow and ice melting systems. Work Details The contractor shall furnish all equipment, labor, and materials needed to install new self-regulating roof and gutter snow and ice melting systems at all specified buildings. This includes heat trace cable, controllers, junction boxes, conduit, GFCI circuit breakers, mounting accessories, wire, and wiring methods for a complete turn-key installation. The contractor must also perform demolition of existing heat-trace systems including removal of all associated components such as heat-trace cable, controllers, sensors, wiring, circuit breakers, junction boxes, and supports. All work must comply with the latest National Electrical Code and be supervised by a licensed Master Electrician. Additionally, the contractor must provide weekly updates on project progress and adhere to strict scheduling requirements.
