Background The North Carolina National Guard is seeking a vendor to provide lawn care services for their Fort Bragg location. The mission includes maintaining the grounds and ensuring they are well-kept and presentable. The goal of this contract is to award an Agency Specific Contract for comprehensive lawn care and grounds maintenance services. Work Details The contractor will provide year-round lawn care services, which include: - Mowing - Edging - Trimming - Debris removal - Leaf removal - Weed and grass control on the grounds owned by the National Guard and along adjoining highway right-of-ways. Specific requirements include: 1) 35 scheduled service visits from April 1, 2026, through March 31, 2027; 2) Mowing to a height of 2-3 inches; 3) Removal of trash and hazards before mowing; 4) Disposal of debris covering downspouts and stormwater drains; 5) Removal of grass clippings from paved areas; 6) Trimming bushes/trees up to a height of 10 feet; 7) Removal of trees in designated areas that are up to 6 inches in diameter; 8) Providing documentation for pesticide/herbicide applications; and 9) Maintaining a clear zone around fences. The contractor must also obtain necessary permits and licenses for operations. Period of Performance The contract will have an initial term of one year starting from the date of final contract execution or by April 1, 2026, whichever is sooner. The vendor must begin work within fifteen business days after the effective date. Place of Performance All services will be performed at Fort Bragg, North Carolina. Bidder Requirements Vendors must be registered with the North Carolina Secretary of State and provide evidence of this registration within ten business days upon notification of award. Additionally, vendors must certify financial stability and comply with HUB participation requirements by utilizing small, minority, physically handicapped, or women contractors.
