Background The USDA Farm Service Agency and Natural Resources Conservation Service (NRCS) located at the Louisiana State Office requires an Areawide Market Analysis (AWMA). The NRCS aims to purchase conservation easements to assist landowners in restoring, protecting, and enhancing wetlands through the Agricultural Conservation Easement Program - Wetland Reserve Easement Component (ACEP-WRE). The purpose of ACEP-WRE is to protect, restore, and enhance the functions and values of wetland ecosystems. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for conducting an Areawide Market Analysis (AWMA) that complies with NRCS instructions. This includes determining proposed market areas and land use types as specified by the NRCS State Conservationist. Deliverables include written and digital products, participation in meetings, and attendance in at least one training session. The AWMA must be USPAP compliant and will undergo review and approval by the NRCS State Conservationist and designated staff. Corrections may be required for final approval.
