SUBJECT: Pre-Bid Site Visit, LOCATION: Immunization Center and Optical Fabrication Laboratory, Ft. Jackson, SC. A pre-bid site visit is scheduled for 10 March 2026 at 0830. This is for informational purposes only; no bid submissions are required at this time. For further details, please refer to the Draft Performance Work Statement. Background The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Huntsville Engineering and Support Center is issuing a Request for Proposal (RFP) for Initial Outfitting and Transition (IO&T) Services for the 120th Adjutant General Battalion Reception Complex, specifically for the Immunization Center and Optical Fabrication Laboratory located at Ft. Jackson, SC. This contract aims to facilitate the outfitting and transition of these facilities to ensure they are operational in alignment with the Army's mission requirements. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for planning and executing the relocation of existing operations from Building 1895 to new facilities. Key tasks include: 1. Inventorying all existing furniture, equipment, materials, and supplies in both the Immunization Center (IC) and Optical Fabrication Laboratory (OFL). 2. Developing a layout plan for utilizing existing furniture in the new locations and identifying additional furniture needs temporarily until new purchases are made. 3. Creating an equipment layout plan based on provided attachments to ensure proper placement in the new facilities. 4. Identifying any necessary installation or building modifications required to support operations in the IC and OFL, with a focus on starting these modifications before relocation occurs. Period of Performance The work is expected to be completed by July 9, 2026, with all furniture, equipment, materials, supplies, and assets needing to be vacated from Building 1895 by this date to allow for subsequent demolition. Place of Performance The contract will be performed at Ft. Jackson, South Carolina.
