Background The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is seeking proposals from qualified Offerors to market and administer a statewide Sponsor-A-Highway Program. This program allows individuals, businesses, and organizations to sponsor segments of Missouri highways by paying for roadside maintenance services. The initiative aims to enhance the cleanliness and maintenance of highways while freeing up MoDOT crews for other critical tasks. The contract will be governed by the Missouri Highways and Transportation Commission (MHTC). Work Details The successful Offeror will be responsible for the following services: 1. Market and administer the Sponsor-A-Highway program, including recruiting sponsors for designated highway sections. 2. Perform litter service at no cost to MoDOT, ensuring areas are maintained in a clean condition. 3. Designate a contact person for communications with MoDOT. 4. Work with MoDOT to design acknowledgment signs that meet Manual of Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD) requirements. 5. Secure necessary permits for access to MoDOT's highway right-of-way, valid for two years with renewals as needed. 6. Provide monthly service schedules and quarterly activity reports detailing services performed, including litter pickup frequency and any issues encountered. Period of Performance The contract period will commence from the date of the fully executed Resulting Agreement and will last for three years, with options for up to two one-year renewal periods. Place of Performance The services will be performed along designated segments of Missouri highways as specified by MoDOT. Bidder Requirements Offerors must be registered in MissouriBUYS to be considered for contract award. They must submit all required exhibits, including affidavits related to worker eligibility and lawful presence, as part of their proposal.
