Background The Illinois Department of Human Services is issuing this solicitation for the installation of security cameras and alarm systems at the Packard Mental Health Center. The goal of this contract is to enhance security by relocating existing cameras and installing additional ones, thereby supporting the agency's mission to ensure safety within its facilities. Work Details The vendor is required to relocate 1 existing security camera and install a total of 16 new cameras. This includes 9 indoor/outdoor dome cameras (with 1 new run) and 7 fisheye cameras (with 1 new run). Additionally, the vendor will provide all necessary video appliances, licensing, and hardware. Specific items to be provided include: - Cat6 plenum ethernet cable - 1 Illustra IQ Flex4 2MP dome vandal-proof camera or equivalent - 6 Illustra Pro Gen4 12MP Fisheye indoor/outdoor vandal-proof cameras with IR and TWDR or equivalent - 3 new 48-port data switches - 5 mini strobe sirens - 5 electric sirens - 5 on/off key switches - 5 modules - 2 fisheye tilt mounts - 5 power supplies - Installation of electrical outlets as needed. The vendor will also remove and relocate one existing indoor dome camera in the Lincoln North nurses’ desk area. All work must be completed during normal business hours from Monday through Friday, with potential for after-hours work upon approval. Period of Performance All work must be completed prior to June 30, 2026. Place of Performance Packard Mental Health Center, Illinois. Bidder Requirements Vendors must comply with Standard Illinois Certifications throughout the contract term. This includes certifications related to legal entity status, prevailing wage compliance, insurance requirements (General Commercial Liability of $1 million per occurrence), and other specific certifications regarding employment practices and tax compliance. Vendors must also provide a five-year warranty on parts and labor for all installed items.
