SCOPE

The Niagara Frontier Transportation Authority (NFTA) and Niagara Frontier Transit Metro Systems, Inc. (NFTM) seek qualified vendors to submit proposals that meet the minimum acceptable criteria set forth herein for a state-of-the-art Color Digital Press, includes delivery, installation, configuration, training, and a three-year maintenance service agreement for the color digital press at the designated NFTA facility. PRE-PROPOSAL/SITE INSPECTION

A pre-proposal meeting and site inspection will be held on January 14, 2026, at 11 a.m. EST The prospective contractor is required to become familiar with the work covered by this contract prior to submitting a proposal. Registration is required to attend the Pre-Proposal Conference/Site Inspection. (NFTM) are seeking qualified vendors to submit proposals for a state-of-the-art Color Digital Press. The goal of this procurement is to enhance the operational capabilities of NFTA by providing advanced printing technology that meets their specifications. This includes the delivery, installation, configuration, training, and a three-year maintenance service agreement for the color digital press at the designated NFTA facility. Work Details The scope of work includes: 1. Delivery F.O.B destination to NFTA facility located at 181 Ellicott Street, Buffalo, New York 14203. 2. Installation and configuration of the Color Digital Press. 3. Training for NFTA staff on the operation of the equipment. 4. A three-year maintenance service agreement that covers all labor, tools, materials, equipment, insurance, and supervision necessary to maintain the press in proper working order. The maintenance service will include preventive maintenance such as inspections and firmware updates, corrective maintenance with specified response times based on severity conditions, and provision of OEM or manufacturer-approved replacement parts. Period of Performance The contract will be executed as a one-time purchase with a multi-year maintenance service agreement lasting one year with two additional one-year terms renewable at NFTA's discretion. Place of Performance The contract will be performed at the NFTA facility located at 181 Ellicott Street, Buffalo, New York 14203. Bidder Requirements Bidders must comply with M/WBE goals of 1.95% for MBE and 1.07% for WBE participation; there are no SDVOB goals established for this procurement. Bidders must also provide proof of insurance and comply with NYS Buy America provisions regarding steel components used in manufacturing.
