Background

The Stanley Administrative Site Housing project is being issued by the Forest Service, which operates under the U.S. Department of Agriculture. The mission of the Forest Service includes managing national forests and grasslands for multiple uses, including recreation, timber, and wildlife habitat. The goal of this contract is to replace the roofs of specific housing units at the Stanley Administrative Site in Sawtooth National Forest, ensuring they are equipped with modern cold roof ventilation features and adequate insulation. Work Details: The project involves comprehensive roofing work on Stanley Housing Units #9 and #11. Key tasks include: - Removing existing asphalt shingle roofs; - Properly disposing of waste roofing materials; - Repairing any damage to existing sheathing and fascia as necessary; - Installing new asphalt shingle roofs that incorporate a cold roof ventilation feature; - Installing blown-in insulation into the attic spaces if required; - Performing all other related work as needed. The existing roofs have an approximate pitch of 4/12. Place of Performance: The construction projects will be performed at the Stanley Administrative Site located at 9 & 11 Upper Loop, Stanley, ID 83278.
