Background The Department of Veteran Affairs, Network Contracting Office 15 (NCO 15) is seeking sources to provide Television Procurement and Installation in accordance with the requirements outlined in the Sources Sought Notice. The goal of this contract is to enhance patient care by providing high-quality hospital-grade televisions in various medical units. Work Details The Kansas City VA Medical Center requires the following deliverables: - **High-Definition Hospital Grade Televisions**: 29 units - Must adhere to Underwriters Laboratories (UL) Safety Standards - Shall have touchscreen support - Shall have 'Nurse Call' capability to alert Nurses’ Station - Approximately 15” screen size - Antimicrobial display meeting ISO 22196 standards - Must connect to existing coaxial or IP patient entertainment systems - **Articulating Television Mounting Arms**: 29 units - Capable of supporting television weight and mounting to patient beds - **Installation/Deinstallation and Testing of Equipment**: 29 units The vendor is also required to remove existing outdated television units and mountings during installation. Period of Performance Delivery and installation shall be performed after primary duty hours, specifically from 7:00 A.M. through 4:30 P.M., Monday through Friday, excluding Federal Holidays. Place of Performance Kansas City VA Medical Center, 4801 East Linwood Boulevard, Warehouse Building 6, Kansas City, MO 64128. Bidder Requirements Bidders must ensure that all products meet the specified safety standards and capabilities outlined in the solicitation.
