The State of Missouri's Office of Administration, through the Division of Facilities Management, Design and Construction, is issuing a solicitation for the construction of 60 Soldier Barracks, Building 446 at Camp Clark Training Site in Nevada, Missouri. Work Details

The project includes the construction of a new barracks building capable of housing 60 soldiers along with associated site development. Specific tasks include: - Mass earth excavation and backfill - Portland cement concrete paving - Installation of utilities and site improvements - Compliance with Missouri prevailing wage laws and federal labor standards, including the Davis-Bacon Act. Alternates include: 1. Interior infill for Barracks 107 and Shower 107A 2. Manual transfer switch installation 3. Resinous flooring installation 4. Gravel parking surface and site pole lighting system.

Period of Performance

The contractor is expected to complete the work within 260 working days from the date the Notice of Intent to Award is issued, which includes ten working days for document processing.

The contract will be performed at Camp Clark Training Site located in Nevada, Missouri.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must meet specific participation goals: MBE (10%), WBE (10%), and SDVE (3%). Only firms certified by the State of Missouri Office of Equal Opportunity can be counted towards these goals. Additionally, bidders must submit a bid bond or cashier's check for 5% of the base bid amount. Compliance with federal labor laws is required due to federal funding for this project.
