St. Charles County Government, located in St. Charles, Missouri, is seeking bids for a Uniform Service for its Highway Maintenance Facilities. The goal of this contract is to provide uniforms and associated services for eleven employees across various district sheds over a specified period.

Work Details

The vendor will supply and service uniforms for eleven employees at the following locations: - Central District Shed (3 employees) - Eastern District Shed (3 employees) - Southern District Shed (2 employees) - Western District Shed (3 employees) The vendor must provide: - Button-down shirts with collars, short and long sleeves, made from moisture-wicking polyester/cotton fabric. - Non-pleated pants and short pants with front and rear pockets, made from durable polyester/cotton fabric. - Insulated winter coats up to size 5XL. - A durable emblem on shirts to identify County staff. - Weekly pick-up and delivery of uniforms, ensuring they are clean and ready to wear upon delivery. - Maintenance of a regular route schedule with advance notice for deviations. - Physical samples of proposed clothing styles before contract award. The vendor must also comply with all federal and state labor regulations, possess appropriate business licenses, and provide insurance certificates upon bid award.

Period of Performance

The contract will be effective for an initial period of approximately twelve months from the date of the notice of award, with options for two additional one-year extensions under the same terms.

Place of Performance

Uniform services will be performed at various locations within St. Charles County, Missouri, specifically at the Central District Shed in St. Peters, Eastern District Shed in St. Charles, Southern District Shed in Wentzville, and Western District Shed in Wentzville.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must possess necessary business licenses and comply with federal/state employment regulations including OSHA standards. They must provide proof of enrollment in the E-Verify program regarding employment eligibility and submit a notarized affidavit affirming non-employment of unauthorized aliens. Additionally, bidders must certify compliance with the Buy American Act regarding domestic products.
