Jefferson City Readiness Center Building 1 Repairs to Interior/Exterior

Background

The State of Missouri, through the Office of Administration, Division of Facilities Management, Design and Construction, is issuing a solicitation for repairs to the Jefferson City Readiness Center Building 1. The project aims to enhance the facility's functionality and aesthetics by addressing both interior and exterior needs. This work is part of the agency's commitment to maintaining and improving state facilities to better serve their mission.

Work Details

The project includes extensive modifications to three separate buildings and the surrounding site. Interior work involves a complete gut and reconfiguration of men's and women's restrooms and showers. Offices and classrooms will receive new finishes, doors, ceilings, HVAC systems, and lighting. Exterior work encompasses the installation of a new membrane roof, replacement of gutters and downspouts, hollow metal door replacements, new exterior metal soffits, and spray foam insulation. Additionally, site work will include the replacement and addition of paving and drives. Specific alternates include: 1) Fire Alarm System installation; 2) Bathroom floor renovations with resinous flooring; 3) Print Room wall removal and entry railing replacement; 4) Installation of Luxury Vinyl Tile (LVT) in corridors.

Period of Performance

The contract must be completed within 250 working days from the date the Notice of Intent to Award is issued.

Place of Performance

Jefferson City, Missouri at the Jefferson City Readiness Center.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must meet specific participation goals: MBE 10%, WBE 10%, SDVE 3%. Only firms certified by the State of Missouri Office of Equal Opportunity can be counted towards these goals. Bidders are required to submit a bid bond or cashier's check for 5% of the base bid amount. Compliance with Missouri prevailing wage laws is mandatory.
