The City of St. Louis is issuing a Request for Proposals (RFP) for Emergency Medical and Ambulance Services at St. Louis Lambert International Airport, which serves nearly sixteen million passengers annually. Work Details

The selected consultant will provide continuous emergency medical and ambulance services, including advanced life support and paramedic services. Services must be available 24/7 and include at least one licensed Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) and one licensed EMT-Paramedic on duty at all times. The consultant must maintain an advanced life support ambulance on-site, respond to emergencies coordinated through Airport Police Dispatch, and transport patients as necessary. They are required to maintain adequate staffing levels, provide necessary equipment such as high-performance transport ventilators, and ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations. Additionally, the consultant must manage accurate service records, billing processes in accordance with a City-approved fee schedule, and participate in emergency preparedness exercises.

Period of Performance

The contract term is expected to last three years from November 1, 2026, to October 31, 2029.

Bidder Requirements

Proposers must demonstrate at least five years of experience in providing similar services within the last six years. They must also submit financial statements for the past three years, proof of insurance coverage meeting specified limits:
