This is a combined synopsis/solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.6, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation; proposals are being requested, and a separate written solicitation will not be issued. Background The National Institutes of Health (NIH), Office of the Director, Office of Acquisitions, is seeking to award a firm fixed-price maintenance service agreement for the FACS Aria Fusion 4 Laser System. This acquisition is non-competitive and aims to ensure the optimal performance of critical laboratory equipment used by the Laboratory of Molecular Biology and Immunology (LMBI) within the National Institute on Aging (NIA). The service agreement is essential for maintaining accurate and timely scientific results. Work Details The contractor will provide a comprehensive maintenance service agreement for the FACS Aria Fusion 4 Laser System, which includes: 1. Two on-site Preventive Maintenance inspections during a twelve-month period, including two PM kits. 2. Unlimited breakdown calls with priority response and access to expert applications and technology support from Monday to Friday. 3. Service from OEM trained and qualified field service engineers at government facilities from 8 AM to 5 PM. 4. Unlimited replacement service parts under the full care agreement, excluding consumables. 5. Software revisions released during the agreement term. 6. Documentation of all services performed, including a service ticket detailing work completed during each visit.
