Background

The State of California, Department of Rehabilitation is issuing a Request for Quote (RFQ # 03-0878G) for the procurement of cold beverage vending machines to be installed at Corcoran State Prison. The contractor will supply and install (12) Crane BevMax 5800-4HC Classic Cold Beverage Vending Machines. Each machine must include features such as: dimensions of 72"H x 47"W x 33.5"D, power requirement of 115-VAC, ADA compliance, 45 product selections, MEI 7512 coin mechanisms, MEI VN27C2RU5M bill acceptors, and a USAT Credit Card Reader. The contractor is responsible for the removal of existing vending machines either through trade-in or recycling. Delivery must include setup, leveling, testing for functionality, and training on operational features. All machines must be newly manufactured and comply with applicable federal, state, and local laws including safety and energy efficiency standards. The contractor must ensure that all equipment is delivered within 5 weeks (35 calendar days) after receipt of order.
