This Sources Sought is for planning purposes only and shall not be considered as a Request for Quote (RFQ) or a Request for Proposal (RFP) or promise to use a future RFQ or RFP. This Sources Sought is to determine the availability of businesses to include small businesses (including the following subsets, Small Disadvantaged Businesses, HUBZone Firms, certified 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Businesses, and Woman Owned Small Businesses) to provide the required products. This does not commit the Government to contract for any supply or service. Responders are advised the Government will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this Sources Sought. All costs associated with responding to this Sources Sought will be solely at the interested party's expense. Not responding to this Sources Sought does not preclude participation in any future RFQ, if issued. The 60th MXS requires a 500-gallon Liquid Oxygen (LOX) trailer. This trailer has a myriad of purposes, including but not limited to: Serving aircraft LOX converters, Next-Gen Patient Therapeutic LOX Converters, and 50-gallon LOX carts. Moreover, it greatly increases servicing capability while deployed in austere locations due to its mobility (e.g. When the C-17s staged out of Panama in Nov 2024, they took two pre-filled 50-gallon LOX carts and had to received new carts through the duration of the deployment due to lack of servicing capability). Without this asset, logistics will continue to be affected due to prioritizing locations with servicing capability. This is a Brand name request. Background The 60th Maintenance Squadron (MXS) at Travis Air Force Base is seeking to assess the availability of businesses, including small and disadvantaged businesses, to provide a specific product. The goal of this Sources Sought notice is to gather information for planning purposes regarding the procurement of a 500-gallon Liquid Oxygen (LOX) trailer, which is essential for various operational needs, particularly in austere locations. Work Details The contractor shall manufacture and deliver a 500-gallon Liquid Oxygen (LOX) trailer with the following specifications: 1. Equipment Requirements: - Capacity: 500 gallons of Liquid Oxygen. - Trailer mounted and towable by flightline vehicles. - Normal operating pressure: 50 PSIG. - Annular space vacuum: < 10 microns. - Tank pressure relief valve actuates at 65 PSIG. - Trailer tank safety rupture disc relieves at 98 PSIG. - Static grounding reel with clamp or mounting position for one. - Anchor points for transportation. - Must meet Air Force PD13WEGRVEA05 and MIL-STD-810 standards. 2. Training Requirements: - End-user operational training for 25 personnel on the device. - Electrical and Environmental Systems Technician training for 25 personnel on service/maintenance. 3.
