Polymer Modified Emulsified Asphalt (CRS2P) for Chip Seals

Background

The Missouri Department of Transportation (MoDOT) is issuing this Invitation for Bid (IFB) for the procurement of Polymer Modified Emulsified Asphalt (CRS2P) to be used in chip seals across Crawford, Washington, and Dent Counties. The goal of this contract is to provide high-quality asphalt materials that meet specific standards for road maintenance and improvement, ensuring safe and durable surfaces for vehicular traffic.

Work Details

The contractor will supply Polymer Modified Emulsified Asphalt (CRS2P) in the following quantities: 1. 13,128.19 gallons for Crawford County Route J 2. 11,442.82 gallons for Crawford County Route O 3. 14,807.65 gallons for Crawford County Route BB 4. 30,833.51 gallons for Washington County Route M 5. 9,461.76 gallons for Dent County Route U 6. 15,552.77 gallons for Dent County Route DD 7. 20,372.35 gallons for Dent County Route FF. All materials must comply with AASHTO specifications including but not limited to AASHTO M 316 regarding polymer modified emulsified asphalt properties such as viscosity and storage stability.

Period of Performance

The period of performance is expected to commence on July 6, 2026, and conclude by July 20, 2026, weather permitting.

Place of Performance

The contract will be performed in various locations within Crawford, Washington, and Dent Counties in Missouri.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders are encouraged to obtain participation from minority business enterprises (MBE) and women business enterprises (WBE). Additionally, service-disabled veteran businesses (SDV) are defined as businesses owned and controlled by service-disabled veterans; bidders should list any SDV or SDVE providing products or services related to this bid.
