Background

The California Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation (CDCR) is seeking to acquire a pager system to enhance communication within its facilities. The goal of this solicitation is to ensure that the CDCR can effectively support its operations through reliable communication tools.

Work Details

The contract involves the provision of a pager system, which includes the supply of pagers, accessories, and any necessary software or services required for operation. Specific requirements include: - New equipment only; used or discontinued models are not acceptable. - All items must meet the specifications outlined in the Line-Item Cost Worksheet. - Delivery must be completed within calendar days after receipt of order (ARO). - Bidders must include all shipping costs in their quotes, as separate shipping charges will not be accepted.

Period of Performance

The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed within a specified timeframe as detailed in the solicitation documents.

Place of Performance

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must possess a valid California Seller’s Permit and provide their certification number for Small Business (SB), Micro Business (MB), or Disabled Veteran Business Enterprise (DVBE) if applicable. Additionally, bidders must comply with DVBE participation requirements and submit necessary declarations including GSPD-05-105 and DGS PD 843 forms.
