Comprehensive Plan and Infrastructure Update – Potential Consulting and Planning Services

A recent meeting document Town of Palm Beach - Town Council Agenda - 2026-06-10 indicates a future potential acquisition The Town Council is considering amendments to the adopted 2024 Town of Palm Beach Comprehensive Plan, including updates to the Data & Analysis and the Goals, Objectives and Policies of the Future Land Use Element, Historic Preservation Element, and Infrastructure Element. Notably, the Infrastructure Element will be amended to update the potable water level of service standard in accordance with the City of West Palm Beach as the Town’s potable water provider, and to address the updated 20-year Water Supply Facilities Work Plan. The plan also includes updates to the Future Land Use Map, designations for public buildings, park sites, and conservation areas, and the establishment of new policies for growth, development, resource protection, and public services and facilities. These types of comprehensive plan updates and infrastructure planning typically require outside consulting services for data analysis, public engagement, mapping, and technical writing. The item is deferred to the July 15, 2026, Town Council meeting, pending responses from state review agencies.
