Security Camera Supply and Installation - Mitchell Street Farm/Greenhouse

Background

The University of Central Missouri (UCM) is seeking bids for the supply and installation of security camera equipment at the Mitchell Street Farm Barn and Greenhouse, which is currently undergoing renovation. The project aims to enhance security through a comprehensive camera system, utilizing federal funds for its execution.

Work Details

The contract involves providing a complete turn-key installation of a security camera system, including all necessary labor, materials, supervision, permits, and licenses. Specific equipment includes: - 7 AXIS M3215-LVE Fixed cameras - 1 AXIS P4705-PLVE Duo camera - 1 AXIS P3737-PLE 360° camera - 1 AXIS M4215-LV 180° camera - 1 AXIS M4327-P 360° camera. The installation must comply with UCM's specifications and include testing and configuration of all cameras to ensure proper operation. All cameras must be powered over Ethernet (POE), have a minimum resolution of 2 MP, and be housed in weather-resistant enclosures for outdoor use. The vendor is responsible for coordinating with UCM's network administrator to integrate the system into existing networks.

Period of Performance

The estimated notice to proceed date is June 26, 2026. Installation is scheduled to begin on September 1, 2026, with final completion expected by September 22, 2026.

The work will be performed at the Mitchell Street Farm Barn and Greenhouse located at 705 S. Mitchell Street, Warrensburg, MO.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide proof of registration with the UCM Procurement Department and submit a bid bond of 5% of the total bid amount. Vendors must also comply with federal procurement requirements due to funding sources. A performance bond equal to the total bid amount is required if the contract exceeds $25,000. Additionally, bidders must not have any delinquent taxes owed to the State of Missouri.
