Background

The Oregon Department of Corrections (ODOC) is seeking bids for the procurement of cooked whole turkey multi-muscle products. Work Details

The contract involves the delivery of 80,000 pounds of Turkey Breast, Cooked Multi-Muscle. The turkey must be fully cooked, boneless, skinless, unbreaded, and unflavored. It should meet USDA standards and grades for poultry, specifically Grade B or better. The product must be processed from whole turkey muscle without any skin or giblets included. The contractor is required to ensure that all goods are gluten-free and comply with FDA/USDA regulations regarding food safety and labeling. Delivery will be made in two full truckloads (FTL), each estimated at 40,000 pounds, with the first delivery expected 45 days after the issuance of a purchase order.

Period of Performance

The contract period will commence upon issuance of a purchase order and will include specific delivery timelines as outlined in the bid documents. The first delivery is anticipated 45 days after the purchase order is issued.

Place of Performance

Goods are to be delivered to the Oregon Department of Corrections' Central Distribution Center located at 3601 State Street, Salem, OR 97301.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with all federal, state, and local laws applicable to the provision of goods under this contract. They must also provide proof of compliance with tax laws as per ORS regulations. Additionally, bidders are encouraged to certify if their goods meet Oregon's preference requirements for goods fabricated or processed entirely in Oregon or if they are resident bidders headquartered in Oregon.
