Horse Quality Hay

Work Requested

Laramie County Community College (LCCC) is seeking written price quotations for the supply of Horse Quality Hay. The hay must be delivered, unloaded, and stacked at the LCCC agriculture complex on the main campus in Cheyenne, Wyoming.

Scope of Work

Please provide pricing for the following:

Type of Hay

Grass Alfalfa Mix - Quantity: 120 tons

Type of Bale

Small bales, standard (non-compressed). Compressed, high-density, or re-baled hay will not be accepted.

Other Criteria

- No more than 20% alfalfa - No more than one year old - Medium to good quality early to average maturity (i.e., early to mid-bloom/early head) - Leafy, fine to medium stemmed, green, and free of damage other than slight discoloration - Approximately 10% protein - Free of dust, mold, and weeds
