Background

The Town of Strafford, Vermont, is seeking general contracting services for the renovation and physical preservation of the Strafford Town Office, which is listed in the National Register of Historic Places. Porch repair involving restatement or replacement of historic posts, removal and repair of water-damaged materials, and roof repair; iii. Accessibility improvements such as adding a ramp; iv. Drainage improvements to direct water away from the building; v. Replacement of outdoor stairway; vi. An optional accessible bathroom widening contingent on additional funding. 2. Providing all traffic control during construction; 3. Minimizing impact on building operations; 4. Collaborating with Engineering Ventures (structural engineer) and TU Architects (architect) throughout the project; 5. Assisting in acquiring necessary permits.
