Background

The High Plains Regional Education Cooperative #3 is issuing this contract to support the New Mexico Public Education Department (NMPED) in enhancing the implementation of high-quality instructional materials (HQIM) across K-12 education. The goal of this contract is to design and facilitate professional learning that strengthens cohesive system-wide processes for implementing HQIM, particularly in mathematics and science.

Work Details

The contractor, Rivet Education, will provide the following services: 1. Develop an HQIM implementation dashboard based on the New Mexico Instructional Materials Implementation Tool, which will include: - Information on the quality of implementation across HQIMs, schools, districts, and regions. - Training and support for all roles of dashboard users. 2. Co-plan with the PED Instructional Materials Bureau to create a site visit and monitoring protocol that includes: - Collecting data from focus groups, classroom walkthroughs, interviews, and observations. - Analyzing data aligned to the implementation tool. - Supporting districts in refining their implementation tools/plans. 3. Build capacity among regional educational cooperatives and STEM hub staff by: - Developing a certification system for staff to support HQIM implementation grants. - Providing coaching on supporting districts with HQIM implementation. 4. Deliver five one-day summits and eight online professional learning sessions throughout the school year covering topics such as creating cohesive professional learning plans, measuring implementation, and building district-specific plans. 5. Select an independent research entity to conduct evaluations including surveys, interviews, analysis of student achievement data, and case studies related to the project.

Period of Performance

The term of the contract is 12 months.

Place of Performance

The services will be performed across various locations in New Mexico as required by the project.

Bidder Requirements

The contractor must demonstrate unique capabilities in providing these services due to their extensive experience with similar geographical contexts and their established relationship with NMPED. Rivet Education must also provide qualified facilitators for project execution.
