Background

Montana State University – Bozeman Culinary Services is seeking contractors to submit proposals for a Food Service Management solution for a multi-site operation. The culinary services include various dining facilities and operations across the MSU-Bozeman campus, generating over 12,000 meals daily and significant retail and concession sales.

Work Details

The contract will provide a comprehensive Food Service Management solution that includes: - Menu management with digital displays and line labeling. - Inventory management and tracking. - Communication of nutrition and dietary considerations, including allergens. - Development, reference, and production of recipes across multiple locations. - Real-time reporting and data analytics capabilities. - Integration with current industry-leading external vendors (e.g., Point of Sale systems, catering services, temperature control, food distributors). - Management of the commissary kitchen production environment. - Enhancement of waste management programs. - Operation in a cloud-based environment.

Period of Performance

The contract will span five years, with yearly cost proposals required for each year.

Place of Performance

Montana State University – Bozeman campus, encompassing multiple dining halls, retail operations, catering kitchens, and concession locations.

Bidder Requirements

Offerors must comply with various prerequisites including acceptance of the University's insurance requirements, financial stability verification, submission of a current W-9 form, and adherence to Executive Order No. 12-2016 promoting equal pay for Montana women. Additionally, bidders must provide references from similar past projects and demonstrate their ability to meet specified requirements detailed in the Buyer Attachment Section.
