Background The Bureau of Land Management (BLM), part of the U.S. Department of the Interior, is issuing this solicitation for Law Enforcement Vehicle Upfitting and Decommissioning services. The BLM's mission includes managing public lands for various uses, including law enforcement activities. This contract aims to ensure that new patrol vehicles are properly equipped and that retired vehicles are decommissioned in compliance with legal and safety standards. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for the complete emergency vehicle upfitting of three patrol vehicles: one 2025 Ford F150 Police Responder and two 2026 Ford F150 Police Responders. Tasks include: - Installation of all necessary emergency equipment and law enforcement decals. - Replacement of the front bumper as provided by the vendor. - Provision of all required wiring accessories such as connectors, shrink wrap, fuses, wire protectors, zip ties, and plunger switches for installation. Additionally, the contractor will perform decommissioning services on three retired law enforcement vehicles (two 2021 RAM 2500s and one 2020 Chevy Tahoe), which includes: - Removal of all emergency equipment including prisoner cages, light bars, rooftop antennas, radios, and graphics from the exterior. - Sealing antenna holes to ensure they are watertight. - Ensuring that all equipment is removed without damaging the vehicles. Period of Performance The contract period will run from May 26, 2026, to September 30, 2026. Place of Performance The work will be performed at a vendor location within 300 miles of Lewistown, MT.
