Grader Blades – Central Region

Background

The Department of Transportation & Public Facilities, Division of Program Management and Administration, is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the procurement of grader blades intended for maintenance and operations in the Matsu and Kenai Peninsula regions of Alaska. The goal of this contract is to ensure that the necessary equipment is available for effective road maintenance in these areas.

Work Details

The contract involves the purchase and delivery of grader blades. Specific delivery locations include:

1) Palmer Delivery Location

289 Inner Springer Loop Road, Palmer, AK 99645; coordination required with Harry Hensel (Phone# 907-355-3118) or Dave Byers (Ph: 907-795-2993).

2) Soldotna Delivery Location

46445 Sterling Highway, Soldotna, AK 99669; coordination required with Salty Bock (Phone# 907-262-4414). The contract is a Firm, Fixed Price type and requires that all equipment provided must be new and meet specified performance standards.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award and will remain in effect until October 31, 2026.

Place of Performance

The geographic locations for performance include Palmer and Soldotna in Alaska.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must hold a valid Alaska business license prior to the award of any contract resulting from this ITB. They must provide evidence of their business license status with their bid submission. Additionally, bidders are required to comply with various federal and state laws including the Civil Rights Act of 1964 and the Americans with Disabilities Act. Bidders must also certify that their bid was arrived at independently without collusion.
