Background

The State of Alaska, through the Department of Transportation & Public Facilities, Division of Program Management and Administration, is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) 2526H276 for the purchase and delivery of two brand-specific Wooldridge rescue boats intended for use by the Airport Police and Fire Unit at the Ted Stevens Anchorage International Airport. The goal of this contract is to enhance the operational capabilities of emergency services at the airport.

Work Details

The contract requires the provision of two Wooldridge 20’ Skagit Open Center Console rescue boats with specific features: - Each boat includes a 50-gallon fuel tank, LED lighting, dual 1,000 MCA starting batteries with a Blue Sea selector switch, upgraded switch panel, rescue/recovery slide gunnels, storage compartments with locking hatches, upholstered seating, leaning posts for drivers, welded diamond plate swim steps with grab handles and ladders, custom light bars, additional cleats, anchors with ropes, bilge pump switches, LED lightbars and searchlights, and a portable water pump mounted on deck with custom shroud and control panel. - Each boat will be powered by a Yamaha F115XB 4-stroke outboard motor and includes a rigging kit for installation. - Additionally, an EZ Loader galvanized bunk trailer with disc brakes will be provided for each boat.

Period of Performance

This is a one-time purchase contract. The bids must be received by June 9, 2026. The contract will be issued shortly thereafter on June 22, 2026.

Bidders must hold a valid Alaska business license prior to the award of any contract resulting from this ITB.
