Water Systems Improvement Construction

Background

The Round Top Mountain Property Owners Association, Inc. (RTMOA) is issuing a solicitation for the construction of the Round Top Water System Improvements Project in Plymouth, Vermont. The project aims to enhance the water system infrastructure to ensure better service delivery and compliance with health and safety standards.

Work Details

The project consists of the following key components: 1. Conversion of the existing water storage tank into a treatment building. 2. Installation of a new booster pump system. 3. Installation of controls and other appurtenances necessary for the operation of the water system. Bids will be received for a single prime contract on a lump sum and unit price basis, including additive alternate bid items as indicated in the Bid Form.

Period of Performance

The contract performance period is expected to commence upon award and will continue until project completion, with bids due by June 11, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at Upper Round Top Road, Plymouth, Vermont.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with several requirements including: 1. Bid security as outlined in the Instructions to Bidders. 2. Disadvantaged Business Enterprise (DBE) requirements must be met. 3. Performance Bond and Payment Bond each in the amount of 100% of the contract price are required. 4. Compliance with 'American Iron and Steel' provisions under P.L. 113-76, Consolidated Appropriations Act is mandatory. 5. Adherence to Federal Wage Rates as determined under the Davis-Bacon Act is required. 6. The project is subject to Build America, Buy America Act (BABAA) requirements; all iron, steel, manufactured products, and construction materials must be produced in the United States unless an approved waiver is obtained.
