Sanding Materials 1B Location Missoula Area

Background

The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is issuing a solicitation for bids on Sanding Material for the Missoula Area. The goal of this contract is to procure sanding materials necessary for transportation and road maintenance, ensuring safe travel conditions during winter weather.

Work Details

The contract involves the provision of sanding materials with two options for delivery quantities: - Option #1 includes 5,000 tons of sanding material. - Option #2 includes 3,333 cubic yards of sanding material. Additionally, there is a requirement for mobilization, specified as 1 lump sum (LS). The quantities provided are estimates.

Period of Performance

The contract period begins upon award and extends until the completion of delivery requirements. Bids are due by June 8, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed in the Missoula Area.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with the Single Point of Contact requirement and review the IFB General Information. Bids totaling $150,000 or greater must include bid security based on 10% of the total bid. Bidders must also confirm their nondiscrimination policies regarding firearms entities as per MCA 30-20-301.
