Sanding Material 1B-Location Bozeman Area

Background

The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is issuing a solicitation for the procurement of sanding material specifically for the Bozeman area. The goal of this contract is to ensure the availability of sanding materials necessary for transportation and road maintenance, thereby supporting MDT's mission to provide a safe and efficient transportation system.

Work Details

The contract involves the provision of sanding material under two options: 1. OPTION #1 - TONS: - Mobilization: 1 Lump Sum (LS)

3,000 Tons (TN) 2. OPTION #2 - CUBIC YARDS: - Mobilization: 1 Lump Sum (LS)

Sanding Material

2,000 Cubic Yards (CY) Quantities are estimated. Bidders must comply with specifications outlined in the Bozeman 1B-Location Sanding Material Specifications document.

Period of Performance

The contract will be open for bids starting from May 18, 2026, and will close on June 8, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed in the Bozeman area, Montana.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide bid security if their total bid is $150,000 or greater, based on 10% of the total bid/offer. Additionally, bidders must comply with the Single Point of Contact requirement and confirm their nondiscrimination practices against firearms entities as per MCA regulations.
