Sanding Material 1-Location Bozeman Area

Background

The Montana Department of Transportation (MDT) is issuing a solicitation for the procurement of sanding material to be used in the Bozeman area. This contract aims to ensure the availability of necessary materials for transportation and road maintenance, aligning with MDT's mission to provide a safe and efficient transportation system.

Work Details

The contractor will provide sanding material as specified in the solicitation. There are two options for bidding: 1. OPTION #1 - TONS: - Mobilization: 1 Lump Sum (LS)

Sanding Material

4,500 Tons (TN) 2. OPTION #2 - CUBIC YARDS: - Mobilization: 1 Lump Sum (LS)

Sanding Material

3,000 Cubic Yards (CY) Quantities are estimated and bidders are required to comply with all specifications outlined in the Bozeman 1-Location Sanding Material Specifications document.

Period of Performance

The contract period will commence upon award and is expected to be completed by June 8, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed in the Bozeman area, Montana.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with the Single Point of Contact requirement and review and accept the IFB General Information. Bids totaling $150,000 or greater must include bid security based on 10% of the total bid/offer. Additionally, bidders must certify that they do not discriminate against firearm entities or trade associations as per MCA 30-20-301.
