FBCMUD No. 34 Rehab of Joint 1.0 MGD WWTP1 & Onsite Lift Station and Rehab of 0.125 MGD WWTP2 & Onsite Lift Station (Rehab)

Background

The Fort Bend County Municipal Utility District No. 34 is seeking bids for the rehabilitation of two wastewater treatment plants and their onsite lift stations. The goal of this contract is to ensure the efficient operation of these facilities, which are critical for managing wastewater in Fort Bend County, Texas.

Work Details

The scope of work includes: - Rehabilitation of Wastewater Treatment Plant No. 1 (WWTP No. 1) which involves: - Replacement of sludge pumps - Installation of variable frequency drives - Piping modifications - Air diffuser assemblies installation - Lift station coating repair - Rehabilitation of Wastewater Treatment Plant No. 2 (WWTP No. 2) which includes: - Recoating the basins - Recoating the onsite lift station.

Period of Performance

The contract work is expected to commence upon award and must be completed within a specified timeframe as detailed in the bid documents.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at two locations in Fort Bend County, Texas, specifically at WWTP No. 1 and WWTP No. 2.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must provide a bid bond or cashier’s check equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid amount. Successful bidders will be required to furnish performance, payment, and maintenance bonds for the full amount of the contract. Additionally, bidders must comply with Texas Government Code § 2252.908 by submitting a completed disclosure of interested parties form (Form 1295) at the time of contract execution.
