Oak Ridge Electric - SCADA System

Background

The City of Oak Ridge, Tennessee, is issuing a solicitation for the provision of an Electric Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition (SCADA) System. This project aims to enhance the operational efficiency and monitoring capabilities of the city's electric utility services. The contract encompasses all necessary labor, materials, tools, equipment, and incidentals required for the successful implementation of the SCADA system.

Work Details

The contractor will be responsible for providing all labor, materials, supplies, tools, equipment, and other incidentals necessary to perform all work and services required for the SCADA System. This includes software installation, optional hardware provision, and complete system setup as per the attached specifications. The detailed scope of work is outlined in Exhibit 'A', which includes general specifications and requirements along with a map indicating where the work will take place. The contractor must also provide training services for system administration and user operation.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon receipt of a written Notice to Proceed and is expected to be completed within 120 days from that date. The contract is effective until December 31, 2026.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed at various locations within the City of Oak Ridge, Tennessee.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be duly licensed contractors in the State of Tennessee. They are required to submit a bid guarantee of 10% of the total bid amount along with their proposal. Additionally, bidders must provide proof of insurance including Worker’s Compensation and General Liability coverage naming the City as an additional insured. Bidders are also required to comply with anti-discrimination laws and certify compliance with the Iran Divestment Act.
