Background The 42nd Contracting Squadron at Maxwell AFB, AL intends to award a sole source contract to Springshare, LLC for the provision of LibApps, which includes LibGuides, LibAnswers, and LibWizard. The goal is to maintain an effective web presence that meets the academic and research needs of Air University students and faculty in a digital information landscape. Work Details The contract requires a subscription to the following suite of Software as a Service (SaaS) solutions from Springshare: 1. **LibGuides**: A platform for disseminating curated information on various research topics, featuring over 200 research guides maintained by librarians. It includes an A-Z Databases list management feature, supports multiple content types, and offers integration capabilities with other LibApps. 2. **LibAnswers**: A tool that facilitates engagement between students, faculty, and librarians through chat, SMS, email, or online forms. It includes a FAQ page and enhances customer service workflows with automation features. 3. **LibWizard**: A solution for creating forms, surveys, tutorials, and quizzes that integrates with LibAnswers and other Springshare products. It allows for 24/7 access to resources for distance learners and automates tasks currently performed by library staff. 4. **Integration with LibCal**: All three products will interface seamlessly with AUL’s existing subscription to LibCal, allowing for custom templates and tiered user accounts for library staff.
