Background The U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) is issuing this solicitation for janitorial and lawn maintenance services at the Corpus Christi Resident Office. The mission of USACE includes providing vital engineering services to the nation, and this contract aims to ensure a clean and well-maintained environment for its operations. Work Details The contractor will be responsible for a variety of janitorial tasks including: cleaning water closets, urinals, wash bowls, and drinking fountains; mopping toilet room floors; cleaning mirrors and walls; window cleaning (both interior and exterior); dusting furniture; and ensuring all areas are free from dirt and debris. Specific tasks include: 1. Cleaning the inside and outside surfaces of water closets and seats to remove rust, discoloration, odors, and stains. 2. Disinfecting drinking fountains thoroughly. 3. Mopping toilet room floors until free from soap solution without using hoses. 4. Cleaning mirrors with soft cloths to remove smudges. 5. Washing both inside and outside window glass weekly or bi-weekly as needed. 6. Dusting all exposed surfaces at specified frequencies as per the Janitorial Services Schedule.
