Background

North Carolina State University’s NC State Dining seeks proposals from qualified temporary staffing agencies to assist in filling temporary dining services positions. The goal is to recruit and quickly place vetted, trained temporary food service workers across various roles within a hospitality and food service environment, ensuring responsiveness to fluctuating staffing needs throughout the academic year.

Work Details

Contractors will provide temporary staffing for various food service and catering positions, including: - Food Service Positions (Supervisor, Sous Chef, Cook, Food Service Worker, Barista, Dishwasher/Janitor/Stock Clerk) - Catering Positions (Event/Bartender Supervisor, Bar Service, Delivery Driver, Waitstaff Server/Attendant). Services will be performed in a high-volume collegiate dining environment serving approximately 5,000 to 7,000 guests per day. Contractors must demonstrate the ability to recruit and deploy qualified staff within compressed timeframes typical of high-volume dining operations. All personnel must complete required training prior to assignment, including food safety and sanitation practices. The contractor shall maintain a structured training program for all personnel prior to assignment.

Period of Performance

The contract term shall be for one (1) year from the date of award, with services beginning August 8, 2026. The University reserves the right to renew with the awarded Supplier(s) for two (2) additional one (1) year periods, not to exceed a total contract period of three (3) years.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed on NC State’s campus in Raleigh, North Carolina across multiple residential dining halls and retail locations.
