Work Details The contract involves replacing two existing split HVAC systems with new 4-ton heat pumps and compatible multi-position air handlers. Specific tasks include: - Replacement of a 4-ton HVAC Liebert air handler and a 4-ton Carrier air handler, along with two Goodman heat pumps. - New equipment must connect to an existing control system and be from a single manufacturer for compatibility. - Installation includes modifications to existing ductwork, creation of a plenum box, and additional ductwork for wall return connection. - Existing line sets must be flushed; if not appropriately sized, new line sets must be installed. - Proper refrigerant charge must be confirmed per manufacturer specifications. - Equipment breakers and disconnects must meet manufacturer specifications and include line voltage monitoring and surge protection. - All installations must adhere to industry standards including nitrogen pressure tests for leaks and proper disposal of removed equipment and refrigerants.
