The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP) anticipates issuance of a solicitation for the award of a firm-fixed-price construction contract for a project entitled Emergency Repair Tornado Damage, at the Federal Correctional Institution (FCI Marion), located in Marion, Illinois. The Federal Bureau of Prisons (FBOP), Federal Correctional Institution (FCI) Marion located at 4500 Prison Road Marion, IL 62959 intends to make a single award to a responsible entity that will provide all necessary equipment, labor, materials, and incidentals to repair damage to the 3-phase overhead primary distribution line and two (2) transformers. See the attached SOW for more information. The North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code applicable to this requirement is 237130 (Power and Communication Line and Related Structures Construction) with a corresponding small business size standard of $19 million. The estimated magnitude of this project lies between $250,000 and $500,000. To be considered an interested vendor, you must possess this NAICS code in your www.sam.gov registration.
