Background

The Douglas-Coffee County Industrial Authority is issuing this contract for the Iron Road Subdivision project. The goal of the contract is to enhance neighborhood infrastructure through comprehensive construction work, including water and sewer systems, roadways, and drainage improvements.

Work Details

The construction work includes: - Installation of approximately ± 4,359 LF of 6” PVC C900 water main - ± 5,190 LF of 8” SDR 26 sewer trench cut - One (1) submersible duplex pump station with ±1,179 LF of 4” PVC force main - New roadway with ±6,456 SY of 8” GAB - ±710 TNS of 9.5mm Superpave asphalt - ±9,426 LF of curb and gutter - ±1,285 LF of 18” RCP - ±1,495 LF of 24” RCP - ±464 LF of 30” RCP - ±183 LF of 36” RCP - ±23 catch basins All necessary roadway and drainage improvements are included to complete the neighborhood right-of-way infrastructure. This encompasses all appurtenances necessary to finish the job.

Period of Performance

All work on the project must be completed within 270 consecutive calendar days from the date of notice to proceed.

Place of Performance

The contract will be performed at the Iron Road Subdivision in Douglas, Georgia.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must include a sealed bid accompanied by a Bidder's Bond for 10% of the bid amount.
