Background

The New York City Housing Authority (NYCHA) is issuing a Request for Quotation (RFQ) for an Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) contract focused on the maintenance painting of apartments and public spaces, including stairwell painting. This initiative aims to enhance the living conditions within various developments across all five boroughs of New York City. Work Details

The contractor will provide maintenance painting services for apartments and public spaces, including stairwell painting using FRP and Silicate Systems. The work will encompass various developments city-wide, with specific tasks including: - Interior and exterior painting of apartments - Stairwell painting in accordance with specified systems - Compliance with NYCHA's Technical Services Paint Program requirements - Enrollment of NYCHA residents as apprentices based on contract value - Submission of performance and payment bonds as required.

Period of Performance

The contract will commence upon award notification and will continue for an indefinite period, with specific task orders issued as needed throughout the duration of the contract.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must pre-qualify as an 'Approved Supplier via NYCHA-Technical Services Paint Program' and be listed on the active approved vendor list. They are required to submit a completed Pre-Qualification Application Package to NYCHA for evaluation. Additionally, bidders must comply with apprenticeship program requirements, maintain insurance as specified, and provide bid security equal to 5% of the minimum contract amount ($50K). A performance bond capacity of $5 million is also required.
