The 2026 Road Program includes paving improvements on multiple roads: 1. **Spruce Street (T-572)**: Mill existing bituminous pavement (1½” – 2” depth) and apply tack coat; overlay with Superpave WMA Wearing Course, PG 64-22, <0.3 Million ESALs, 9.5 mm mix, SRL-L, 2” depth; place Superpave Base Course at prepared driveway apron. 2. **Sport Hill Street (T-813)**: Similar milling and overlay work as Spruce Street but with a wearing course depth of 1½”. 3. **Swatara Road (T-565)**: Mill existing pavement and perform Type A Base Repair; overlay with Superpave WMA Wearing Course, PG 64-22, <0.3 Million ESALs, 9.5 mm mix, SRL-L, 1½” depth. Additional requirements include traffic control measures, compliance with PennDOT specifications, and adherence to public works employment verification regulations.

Period of Performance

The work must be completed within 90 calendar days from the notice to proceed. Liquidated damages will apply at a rate of $975 per day for any delays beyond this period.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must be prequalified by PennDOT as prime contractors. A certified check or bid bond of 10% of the total bid amount is required with each proposal. Compliance with the Public Works Employment Verification Act is mandatory.
