Vimy Ridge Road Drainage

Background

The City of Little Rock, Arkansas, the state's capital and largest municipality with over 202,000 residents, is issuing this Invitation to Bid (ITB) for the Vimy Ridge Road Drainage project. The city's mission is to ensure a safe, secure, and prosperous environment for its citizens. The project aims to replace a failing cross drain on Vimy Ridge Road as part of the city's infrastructure improvements.

Work Details

The contractor will provide comprehensive heavy construction services including: - Site preparation - Unclassified excavation - Construction of underground storm drainage systems - Curb inlet construction - Sidewalk, curb, and driveway reconstruction - Installation of asphalt surface and binder courses - Maintenance of traffic during construction. Estimated quantities include: 1 LS site preparation, 10 CY unclassified excavation, 46 LF storm drain pipes (36" cross drain), and various other materials such as asphalt and thermoplastic pavement markings.

Period of Performance

The contract work is expected to commence within ten (10) calendar days after receiving the written 'Notice to Proceed' from the City and must be completed within sixty (60) consecutive calendar days thereafter.

Place of Performance

The work will be performed on Vimy Ridge Road in Little Rock, Arkansas.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must have a valid Arkansas State Contractor License and submit a completed Statement of Vendor’s Qualifications form. A bid security of 5% is required for bids over $50,000. Bidders must also comply with non-collusion requirements and provide certifications regarding boycotts of Israel and certain industries.
