Background The MICC Ft. Rucker AL is conducting market research to identify parties interested in supporting the requirement for Fort Rucker Fire & Emergency Services for FRFD Structural Fire Trainer Maintenance. This initiative aims to procure these services competitively, ensuring compliance with AR 420-5 and DODI 6055.05, which mandate annual Live Fire training. Work Details The contractor shall provide all personnel, equipment, tools, materials, supervision, and other items necessary for preventative and corrective maintenance on the Fire Department live fire structural trainer. This includes up to two preventative maintenance visits per year and unplanned corrective maintenance work performed by factory certified technicians. The service will ensure that the training building remains operational and compliant with regulatory standards. The contractor is responsible for managing its employees without government supervision or control over methods of performance. The contract does not cover system upgrades due to obsolete hardware or software components.
