Language Interpretation & Translation Services

Background

The Parkway School District is seeking a qualified provider to deliver on-demand and scheduled language interpretation and translation services. This initiative aims to support communication with non-English speaking students, families, and community members, enhancing engagement and understanding within the school community.

Work Details

The contractor will provide language interpretation and translation services for various school-related activities including:

School Assemblies

- General Parent/Student Communications. Services must be available through multiple formats: Over-the-Phone Interpretation (OPI), Video Remote Interpretation (VRI), and In-Person Interpretation.

Period of Performance

The contract will be effective for a period of one year from the date of acceptance of the bid, with the possibility of a one-month extension at the District's discretion.

Place of Performance

Services will be performed within the Parkway School District located in Chesterfield, Missouri.

Bidder Requirements

Bidders must comply with Missouri Revised Statute 285.530 regarding enrollment in a federal work authorization program (E-Verify) for employees working on contracted services. Additionally, bidders must provide documentation affirming compliance with this requirement prior to contract execution.
