Background The National Park Service (NPS) is issuing this solicitation for the procurement of lumber materials for the Puuloa Petroglyph Boardwalk at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. The goal of this contract is to provide necessary materials to support the maintenance and enhancement of recreational facilities within the park, aligning with NPS's mission to preserve natural and cultural resources. Work Details The contractor shall provide all supervision, labor, materials, equipment, and other items necessary to furnish and deliver various lumber and hardware materials to the rain shed at Hawaii Volcanoes National Park. Specific requirements include: - Delivery of treated lumber materials including decking, framing, joist lumber, blocking/bracing, platform lumber, and hardware such as screws and hangers. - All items must conform to specified dimensions and treatment standards (e.g., Douglas Fir, Borated Treated). - Shipping and delivery must include invasive species inspections. - The anticipated performance start date is on or before July 1, 2026.
